| Intro |
The two-day Foundation course is aimed at participants who are actively involved in projects and who wish to familiarise themselves with the PRINCE2 project management method and acquire the Foundation certificate in a fast-track process. After taking the course, the participants will understand the key elements of PRINCE2 such as principles, themes and processes and will appreciate how these can be tailored to suit different project environments. In addition, the PRINCE2 management products such as Business Cases, plans and reports are tackled using a practical approach. Group exercises provide the chance to learn about practical applications and sample test questions are used to prepare for the Foundation exam. |
| Course Specialities |
The course consists of a two-day, interactive training program consisting of presentations and group activities, followed by the Foundation exam on the afternoon of the second day. Participants are expected to prepare for the exam by completing self-study work on the evening of the first day. Preparatory materials will be sent to the participants in plenty of time before the start of the course.

| Learning Goals |
The course participants will acquire a solid basis in PRINCE2. They will understand what it means to manage a project in accordance with PRINCE2 and how projects can be properly managed from start to finish. The course will also provide the following additional benefits to the participants:
- They will receive top-quality, certified training materials that continue to provide useful support in daily projects even after the course is over.
- They will learn how to act in a PRINCE2 project environment and will gain an understanding of the responsibilities and tasks assigned to the various roles.
- They will acquire an overview of the processes and process contents during the start, progress and closure of a project.
- They will understand the purpose and contents of the key documents.
- They will be prepared to take the Foundation exam.
Participants who successfully complete this course are eligible to attend the follow-on course entitled “PRINCE2 Application Training including Practitioner Exam” with the goal of obtaining their Practitioner certificate. |
