Controlled Service Environment

Your challenge

Aspects such as rising costs and compliance specifications, changing business requirements, problems in quality and governance guidelines frequently necessitate replacing old Management Systems with a needs-orientated Service Management System. A challenging undertaking.

So: How can IT organisations migrate from the actual status to the target status without endangering the "current business"? How are services and processes defined, implemented and managed on the basis of the new service-orientated principles? Glenfis provides clear answers to this with its "Controlled Service Management" concept (CSE). This contains the following primary components:

Our solution

Definition of the elements of a "Target Operating Model" (TOM)

  • The definition of services, processes and organisation, of guidelines (Governance), tools and functions forms the foundation for the structure and operation of a Controlled Service Management system - and consequently for providing sustainable needs-orientated IT services.

Controlled Migration / TOM implementation

  • The CSE from Glenfis follows the gradual migration approach. Therefore not all services of the organisation will transfer at the same time to the new CSE. Instead, the individual services are adopted in phases.
  • The new management system is based on internationally recognised "Best Practice" models such as ITIL, COBIT ISO 20,000 and ISO 27,000 and consequently addresses stringent requirements regarding aspects such as Information Security, Service Management and IT Governance.

Gradual Transition of all Services

  •  The Glenfis standardised migration concept facilitates the controlled replacement of the old Management System with the new Service Management System.
  • Thanks to the gradual migration, the operational risk is minimised during the introduction of new services, processes and functions. Furthermore, the enterprise has time to define services and processes in detail. Moreover it is able to learn and to include acquired experiences into the forthcoming steps for migration.

Your benefit

Place your emphasis on a "Controlled Service Environment" and in doing so create the basis for sustainable added value for your IT organisation. Naturally, the expert team from Glenfis will be at your disposal for the definition, planning and implementation of a CSE.
